TDS stands for total dissolved solids and is basically composed of inorganic salts and a small amount of organic matter. Our inline water filter is not designed for significant TDS removal. If you want to reduce TDS, please choose a Waterdrop RO system.

What is the difference between WD-UA/UB/UC?
WD-UA should be connected to your original faucet, while UB comes with a lead-free brushed stainless steel faucet. You can install the new faucet into the original faucet hole, or drill a 1⅜” hole for it. The dedicated faucet and your original faucet will separate the filtered water from unfiltered water, which meets different daily water needs. And UC filters can be the replacements for most refrigerators as exterior fridge water filters.
